As spring flowers begin to make their appearance, we long to explore fields of blooms. We long to celebrate, as the winter thaws and spring begins.
I can see a few daffodils blooming outside of my kitchen window. They are in full bloom despite the snow falling on them. I am so thankful for these flower bulbs that were planted by the previous owner of this house. They continue to surprise us every spring with their color.
Of course, we must remain indoors in order to help our brave healthcare works deal with this pandemic and most of us don’t have fields of wildflowers within walking distance of our homes. What better time to begin a weekly celebration of flowers than this otherwise dark time?
As someone who has owned a vintage store and a handcrafted jewelry store on Etsy, it is important to me that we continue to support small businesses
If you have some extra time, between working from home, teaching children, cooking, and cleaning…please check out #standwithsmall on Instagram. As we celebrate the colors of spring, let us not forget to support each other and the small businesses that make our IRL and online communities more beautiful.
